Turkey that is "fall off the Bone" Moist!
Super Moist Slow-Cooked Turkey
Recipe From (Kirsten Hayden and Jan Durrill)
20lbs Fresh or Thawed Turkey
Place the turkey breast down after it is cleaned and dried and salt/peppered
300’ for 1 hour (5PM)
185’ from 6PM to 2PM next day
Serve. Turkey will fall off the carcass.

    Make these treats up to two days before serving or bake them ahead and freeze. Store them in the freezer up to three months.

    1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
    2 cups (12 oz) semisweet chocolate morsels
    ¼ cup butter of margarine
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    ½ cup chopped pecans
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    60 pecan halves

    • Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate and butter melt. Remove from heat.
    • Stir in flour, chopped pecans and vanilla.
    • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Press a pecan half into the center of each cookie.
    • Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes. (DO NOT OVERBAKE.) Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool.
    • Yields 5 dozen.

  2. Pellegrino's Tomato Bisque Soup
    Serves 8

    Ingredients:
    1 stick of butter
    2 onions chopped
    2 tablespoons of garlic
    4 cans of diced tomatoes
    3 tablespoons dried basil
    4 cups water
    4 cubes chicken based bouillon
    2 cups whole milk


    Cooking Directions:
    1. Sauté onion and garlic in the butter in a sauté pan (till brown)
    2. Let the mixture cool
    3. Place in blender and blend to puree
    4. Place puree in soup pot.
    5. Dice tomatoes in blender and puree
    6. Add tomato puree to soup pot.
    7. Add 4 cups of water and bouillon
    8. Add basil
    9. Simmer for 15 minutes
    10. Add milk simmer 5 minutes
    11. Add salt and pepper to taste

    Goes great with grilled cheese!
